Carbo-veg and Chest Coldness

An interesting thing happened yesterday.

The symptoms of one of my new cases were strongly indicating Carb-v so after that mention on the list a few days ago about a cold sensation in the chest extending through to the back, I idly asked if she experienced this.

To my surprise, as I wasn't expecting it as a symptom, she replied yes, and began to tell me all about it. So, spooky stuff does happen ...

Only problem is that I can't find that symptom in the repertory and because of a program glitch, can't access my materia medicas at the moment.

Can anyone tell me where it is recorded as a symptom?

The other interesting thing is this Carbo-v case is in a 12 year old girl - I haven't prescribed Carb-v to someone so young for a chronic problem before. There is no obvious cardiac problem but plenty of digestive symptoms and other stuff.

It was Carb-an and it was in Hering's Guiding Symptoms: "Sensation of coldness in chest; through form front to back" and the nearest that you can find for in the rep is the following rubric:

CHEST - COLDNESS - Internally

or certainly that is all that is in my rep: Synthesis 9.1.

Aaah - Carb-an also comes up strongly in her case.

Very interesting.

Thanks.
