Outdoor Allergens

I have a 9 year old client with severe allergies, mostly skin
irritation. She has never been given a diagnosis but it looks like
contact dermatitis. She experiences this in the Spring and gets puffy,
puffy eyes along with redness and hive like skin on her face, neck and
folds of her arms. I have given her Medor. constitutionally with some
improvement but when this exacerbation occurred and she was in
discomfort I have given her Apis. It has improved the swelling and
redness but there are more pimples and the skin is beginning to dry up.
What I want to know is if any of you have suggestions for alternative
options for allergy testing. Can saliva tests determine what outdoor
allergies individuals have or just the level of IgE antibodies?
any ideas or suggestions much appreciated!! This clients mother is
looking for some other alternatives for traditional allergy testing as
the clinic told her it would be about 6 months until she could get
into the allergist.
