Dear Colleagues
As Ellen quite correctly has stated, I am a volunteer moderator, I am not a thought police [although I could easily be

] and my instructions are fairly simple.
We have some 2000 members who from time to time send posts.
All posts from new emails are moderated.
When new member joins Minutus, based on the way they write and state things, I make a decision either to free them from moderation so that they can send posts freely or to keep them on moderation. If members become abusive, or send in nonesense, then they go on to moderation and I check everything they post. On some occasions some email addresses are barred, usually because they are trying to sell us viagra or the posts has nothing to do with homeopathy!
Some unmoderated members from time to time will send posts about how they can cure everything, or Like Dr Bashir send a general protocol for self curing diabetes - which triggered the response below from Zaidee. Because they are unmoderated, I cannot obviously stop such posts. However, they key point about the standing of Minutus is how its members response to such emails. Dr Bashir's post immediately drew two responses - a frustrated one from Sheri and a probing one from myself.
He has responded to neither which shows that perhaps he is so high that it is too much trouble to answer simpletons like myself or that he could not find any proper scientific basis for his assertions and let things drop.
The fact that we have stood our corner and defended Hahnemannian Homeopathy is the key point.
I hope that Zaidee of 'gentlecure' will stay and contribute positively to our exchanges and learning process.
Best wishes
Soroush

I agree, Ellen, that there is no need for rudeness - none at all even if it is provoked which
in this case it wasn't.
I have a problem of my own: my posts dont get published. If I have been debared from posting
I should be told and removed from the list. I have in the past written posts that have generated
a fair bit of controvercy - but that is what debate is all about. I have received reactions of a
confrontational thread to which I have not replied. Is that a reason to debar me? Am I bound to
reply to all posts or face exclusion?
That is what appears the moderator has done.
