I have a proving of this and some cases showing how it works for people with the disease. I wondered, however, if anyone on the list has any personal experience of using it. I don't normally have a lot of joy with this kind of prescribing but live in hopes.

((( Hi Theresa. Tried once in an OA case which looked like Calc-f (and
was at least on the overall plane, though the knees prob needed other
remedies also). OAN "indicated" by arthritis in shoulders, which moved to
hands, then abated in hands after Calc-f. But the OA was in the knees
which did not seem to change, though to be fair, change there would likely
be too slow to register on a short time-frame. So, use of OAN shifted sx,
but was not the ultimate rx. My only experience with it that can recall.
Best

Thanks, Andy. My patient's severe OA is in the shoulder so it might be worth looking at.

Some thoughts on OA
The whole Calc group but specially calc-p are very useful for this condition
Symph is probably the best remedy when nothing constitutional comes to mind
Hekla is useful for OA of knee
Thiosin sometimes works for OA of the shoulder
