I feel the same
Headlight goes out in your car, you don't have to buy a new car
Mouse stops working for computer don't have to buy a new computer.

I would suggest that all that has been upgraded has not been that necessary, personally
And to try to force us to buy new programs because all we need is a new dongal (dongle) is pretty sad.
I teach a lot of students and they then ask what to do for reps, etc.................I guess you know how I might respond.

Just to be clear. No one ever has to purchase a new program after they become a RADAR Owner. I noticed your comment about purchasing a new dongle when the parallel connectors became obsolete. If your program is older than 5 years, and you change part of your computer system, it is possible that you will have to upgrade simply because Archibel cannot support the older programs - first because the software/hardware becomes obsolete and second because it is costly to do so.
Archibel does come out with new programs every 3 to 5 years and then supports the older programs for 1 1/2 years after the new program is out.

this was many years ago and they said that
wouldn't work when I asked at computer shops as
they aren't true parallel ports or something
