Hello,

I have had a patient's inquiry as to whether or not homeopathy can treat Juvenile diabetes.

Or better yet, call it diabetes of a 8 year old. She's presently on insulin injections. she was diagnosed 1 year ago.

The only thing unusal I could pull out from the case was that this started within the month that the family moved house and changed schools (from Kenyan private: low-cost to Kenyan public: low-quality) due to financial difficulties of the family.

I was initially under the impression that JD is incurable, but I know little about it. I also find it unusal that a child will get something as dramatic as diabetes from "simply" changing schools.

At this time I have no further significant data. Nevertheless some imput from you would be helpful

What changes in the diet occurred?
More carbs for example?
More chemicals?
What was the child's reaction to the move?
How traumatic was it for her?
What were the core feelings or responses?
Was it possible that the child just was not diagnosed earlier
Were there any subtle symptoms that may not have been reported?
Just some thoughts. Hope they help.
