I was trying to find Dr. Roz's book, but it seems it's backordered for a couple weeks..... bur ran into another similar book called: Gemmotherapy and Oligotherapy Regenerators of Dying Intoxicated Cells by Dr. Marcus Greaves M.D., N.M.D.

While flipping through it, I ran across something interesting for Rheumatoid Arthritis... which is rather hard to help. Gemmotherapy, is the live shoots of the plant or seedling as it sprouts. It has more vitality to energize the body towards health than older plants....

On page 64 it says:

The principal indications are in the treatment of local induration of aponevrose, ligament and muscles due to the formation of fiberous tissue. A very known example is the hardening of the palmeraponevrose called Dupeytren's Disease.

Also used in ankylozing spondylitis and post-inflammatory adhesions.

Whenever there is injury to any joints, ligaments with rupture or elongation, cartilage or bone damage, use Ampelopsis to regenerate them.

It is a remarkable remedy for regenerating and reconstructing joints in chronic rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis and for cartilage regeneration. This product can be used for non-inflamatory irritations of conjunctivitis and aponevrosis and in conditions where there is moderate case of hypoglobulinaernia.

Ampelopsis is very effective when used in alteration with Buxus sempervirens (shoots) and a good articular drainer like Pinus montana.

Ampelopsis is a remarkable remedy for treating tendons and ligament strains produced during tennis games and other sports like football, rugby, soccer, sky etc.

It reduces deformation and sclerosis, thus limiting distortions.

Ampelopsis is made into gemmo by Boiron too - Boiron name is Wild Woodvine.
I can second the use of gemmos for RA - you just have to stick with them, w/o cutting back after improvement.
Good Luck
