Friends,

A couple of weeks ago, I expressed concern about some mis-information about the homeopathic licensing bill in Arizona. This bill had the complete support from the various players in Arizona, including the homeopathic MDs, the homeopathic NDs, the naturopathic physicians, and even professional homeopaths (including Vega Rozenberg).

However, I erroneously referenced the "National Health Federation" (NHF) as the source of mis-information about this bill...and this was my error. The organization that was spreading the mis-information was an organization with a similar name, called the National Health Freedom Coalition (NHFC).

Ironically, the lawyer for the NFH is an old friend of mine, Scott Tips. I wrote him personally to express concern, and he told me that I, like many others, have gotten his organization confused with the NFHC. Scott told me that he has pleaded with the NHFC to change their name so that people do not get them confused. Because the NHF has been around for a long long time, the NHFC benefits greatly by this confusion...and I have just written to the NHFC to add my voice to urge them to change their name.

I wish to apologize to the National Health Federation. People can learn more about this important organization at:

Finally, I want to say that I have a real concern that many people today cannot afford to go to a homeopath. The only way that many people can obtain homeopathic care today is if their insurance company REIMBURSED for homeopathic treatment. It is obvious to me (and to many others) that the FIRST STEP to getting reimbursement is LICENSURE.

Because the Arizona bill is a "title licensing act" that only limits the use of the terms "homeopathic phyisican" and "homeopathic doctor", it does NOT seek to monopolize the practice of homeopathy. It does NOT restrict the PRACTICE OF HOMEOPATHY IN ANY WAY! Therefore, those individuals and organizations that seek to spread FEAR and spread mis-information about taking away health freedoms are commiting an abuse of our precious freedom of speech. It may be their freedom to do this fear-mongering, but it is also my freedom to express serious concerns about such actions...

This is not what I would expect from the organization and attorney who have helped states obtain health freedom bills. Some more information is to be had here overall I'm sure.
