Is there any software for accounting as well as keeping patient info that works best?

Post by Mary Ann Gilmore »

Hi,
Does anyone have any suggestions for software which combines to
provide for the business side of practice as well as keeping track of
patient billing, etc. rather than just general business software?

Thanks,

Mary Ann Gilmore

Hi,
Apparently Miranda Castro has such a program that she's retailing. I'd check her website.
Best,
Laurie

I have used Quick books pro for contractors for years.
You can do all kinds of record keeping with this program.
You get to set up the accounts you need as well as customer/patient
billing.
It has many more features than the simple cheaper versions. The contractor
version accommodates the condition of having many customers who need
to be billed, as well as keeping track of any supplies (remedies) that you may
be dispensing.

You should also check out the new RADAR OPUS--it has patient billing right in the program.

HI Laurie (Lisa),

I'll ditto on the Radar Opus Pro program. I have mine on order and it should be arriving in the next couple of weeks. It does SO MUCH more than just be a repertory, MM, analyser etc...it also has various modules of all sorts of goodies, a case taker, patient record system and patient billing all integrated within the program. It looks great, I doubt I will need much else than Opus for my office apart from my beloved Homoeopathy book collection that I still like to browse in hard copy ;)

Cheers,
Tan.
