Have just seen the birth plan for my future 1st Grandchild and I see that BCG (and Hep B) vaccination is on the plan. I don't think BCG is effective any way so can anyone give me some information on this to send to my son and partner.

that vaccine isn't even used in the US (and the US has rarely met a vaccine it doesn't use - so it must really be a bad one)
Hep B is a horrible one

I have come to know many parents who's babies died after Hep B vax.................sadly to say

I didn't think the UK gave hep b at birth

not true sheri. they are still pushing that vaccine.
my grandbaby was born 4 mos ago and they were promoting it.
the parents declined the vaccine at birth, but are now afraid to not give it.
such dumbness!!!

Thanks Sheri - My son and partner live in Singapore and there they seem to have a choice and also won't be subjected to the terrible UK schedule!!

links come and go all the time and I have had a busy winter - traveling and then a car accident.
Usually I update them in the winter.
