There is a rubric I have used before but just can't find when I want it!!!
It is to do specifically with children and it is those that are fearful of passing a stool in case it hurts . I know is have Calc and Sulph in it. It is a small rubric not the longer

What repertory are you using?
In Murphy I've got RECTUM: Constipation, Painful - compells child to desist from effort: ign, lyc, sulph
Hope this helps - but there's no Calc.

Quite correct. I thought Calc was in it before I found it. Had a child in today- new case. Will post case later as I really didn't feel I could find a remedy that I was perfectly happy with and feel quite stressed over it. Maybe it was just one of those days!!

Sulphur is what I gave her. I just wasn't happy that it was the constitutional Rx but then maybe that won't matter - we will see.
