S. 510 is back on the table --due for quick vote in Senate again!

Dear All,
S.510, the Food Unsafety Bill is NOT dead. Big Agribiz has been heavily lobbying to push
this through Congress. As anticipated they dealt with their illegal revenue raising componenet
of the Senate bill by slipping it into the House appropriations bill. The House passed it!!!
Now is goes back to the Senate for a reapproval. There is scant time to pressure our
Senators to vote this draconian bill down.
The FDA, as many of you already know, has almost unlimited power to approve or disallow
all foods, nutritional supplements, herbs, holistic protocols. It does not need science to back
up it decisions and this bill further ensconses that power. The FDA history is full of attacks on
healthful food and supplements, most recently its active war against raw, unpasteurized dairy.
They are carrying this assault out despite the fact that small family farms have a great health
history whereas all the health problems in recent years have been from factory farms that use
excessive amounts of chemicals, antibiotics, hormones, etc. with animals kept under super
croweded, unhealthy conditions.
This link is to an article from Natural News that not only contains good information on the bill,
but provides numerous links for those who wish to read more. The article mentions a man
named Jonathan Emord who has devoted much time to freedom of speech issues in health care and
he is one to read.

The above article does not mention Citizens for Health which is a group with numerous lawyers on its board.
Their petition and access to their issues and group can be read here:

Emord has written much about food and drug law and his bio can be accessed here:

Please sign the petitons asap as we have so little time left to save our access to wholesome, organic
foods. And pass this info to your email lists, patient lists, friends and all who care about having the choice
for how we acheive health.
