Help with Flu Repertorisation Please

Hi,
Yesterday my friend woke up feeling terrible and had lost her voice, hardly able to stand on her feet. No obvious fever, yet her head felt heavy, her eyes hurt and watered a lot, she felt dizzy, her muscles felt sore, and her chest hurt as if inflamed.
She took a tsp of Bryonia 30 that morning, and later that day her eyes hurt less, yet felt droopy, her nose became stuffy with clear discharge and she was constantly sneezing - she especially started sneezing on entering a warm or stale area. She felt sleepy and exhausted, yet the pain in her chest was gone, and so was the cough. She wasn't thirsty yet was making herself drink water in large sips, she felt constantly hungry.
I felt Gelsemium was a better fit, so she took a dose that night. Now this morning, she reports that her head is not as heavy, she is less drowsy and her eyes aren't burning and sore like yesterday. They still hurt a little and water though. Her nose and sinuses are still painful to the touch and the skin around her nostrils is red. She is tending to breathe through the mouth rather than through the nose. Discharge is clear.
What is worrying her is her throat and chest as the coughing is back and it has moved down to her trachea. Her voice was gone again in the morning and she had to make many attempts to clear her throat. When she breathes in, it irritates her lungs and she coughs as she breathes out. The discharge is clear and not offensive, yet her lungs feel itchy.
Her face is still burning, yet this is more of an internal heat as when she touches it, it feels cold. Chills are travelling up and down her spine, which weren't so typical yesterday after the Bry dose.
Of main concern is that she had three pneumonias as a child and she is very concerned about her lungs as the X-rays they took some years ago revealed patches of necrotic tissue in her lungs, and I am not experienced enough at all to advise her properly.
Please can anyone help me choose the best remedy for her?
Many thanks in advance
Michelle
