Dear Dana
Are you sure that the problem can be directly linked to the statin drug? If so, then it would be worth trying isopathy.
You can get a remedy made from the drug from Helios in the UK - their website is www.helios.co.uk
Alternatively, you could try a simple detox first - Sulphur 6C a.m. and Nux Vomica 6C p.m. for one week - this can often clear toxins from the body and then leave the way clear for the indicated remedy to work.
In desperation, you can make your own remdey from the drug - grind it up, mix with alcohol/water, take a drop and... I'm sure you know the rest!! If you use the Korsakovian maethod, you don't need to worry about different bottles at each step. I would take it up to a 30C personally - and lots of succussions, of course.

Hi Dana,

Given that there is an injury, what is the reason for thinking it's
associated with the past statin use?
If "first aid" indicated remedies don't work, I'd go the "full case"
route--but that could be a stinker to do with a friend... Has he seen
another homeopath about it?

I was on statins for couple of years. Stopped taking them about 7 years ago because my thigh muscles became emaciated. I still can't sit on ground nor can get up from there without support. There is no problem while walking or getting up from chair/bed. The only improvement since getting myself off these medicines is that while trying to sit, I no longer "fall" in chair or sofa as I was previously doing when my problem started.

I am sure the cause is statin because when I tried to use this medicine again about a year back, my problem started getting worse within a fortnight.
