Eric, I would concur with your conclusion that it is problematic
when more than one physician and healthcare system is being applied
to a single case. It is problematic but not irreconcilable. It
necessitates that the physicians along with the pt. are able to
confer and arrive at an acceptable Dx and prioritisation of Tx
protocols.
In an e-mail to Dave Hartley I intentionally did not address
protocols like acupuncture, rather, the benefit which may be
achieved by observing that the principles of oriental medicine and
homeopathic medicine are in the broadest sense the same. The
differences become manifest when we apply our respective diagnostic
methods. Our language is different and our handling of information
is different. But the energetic basis in principle I argue is the
same.
We can operate together with a most tasteful result.
