Nux Vomica in Siddha Medicine

I came across this blog by a retired police officer turned farmer who happens to be from my city of Coimbatore, in Tamilnadu, India.

He has gathered a neat pile of Siddha way of presentation on Nux Vomica. He is not a physician but writes after getting info from his friend who is a Siddha physician.

What surprises one is the depth of the knowledge the Tamil Mystic Saints (who also doubled as great physicians)had on herbs and their healing properties. They had so many preparing methods- Juice, Choornam (powdered and mixed with jaggery), synergistic mixing with other herbs etc.

But one handicap for international viewers is the language. It is in Tamil- one of India's (and perhaps the world's )most ancient languages. For members who know Tamil, here is the link to the blog
