Dear all,

Would be good to try and get some clear definitions for keynotes (nuggets/goldkörnchen), complete symptoms and maybe some other often used expressions like: unique rubric etc.

I have set this up through Facebook too and the replies are good but not many and quite mixed in their description.

ok, wanted to keep this for myself but ....

Keynote: a symptom for a remedy that came up in most situations first in the proving, clinically confirmed many times and typical for the remedy in that sense that its parts are also typical for the remedy in itself, i.e. are also redline indicators for that remedy.
Example: Phos: Vomiting after the drink gets warm in the stomach (although I think that one does not come from provings first), where vomiting in itself is often seen in Phos, and also the agg. from warm food/drinks and idem the often appearing stomach related symptoms.

Redliner: symptom/rubric for a spec. remedy that show a clear repetition in many body parts, at least 3 but possibly more. This is what the occurrences number indicates when you double click a remedy in CD...
Example: the Lach. morning agg., which is found in at least 9 different chapters/parts of the body. A related keynote to this redline symptom is: Mind; sadness; morning; dyspepsia, in, which is also a near unique Lach. symptom. No something specifically coming up in provings only but very often more through clinical experience

complete symptom/rubric: a symptom for a remedy with at least three different labels/components/building blocks:
a location, a phenomenon, a modality and ultimately a fourth one: a concomitant. Something that can be found in provings and clinical information
