new born - update

I received this and more from the mum this morning as part of a round robin. Just as a matter of interest how would we have treated it homeopathically. As I said at the beginning I would have gone for Laurocerasus if I had been around and had any in my kit!!
......born by elective c-section on ........weighing a whopping 10lb 3.5 oz. Alas 18 hours later he became very poorly with his breathing and was admitted to special care in our local hospital where I had given birth. Amongst other things he developed a pneumothorax (air space in the pleural cavity, which wouldnt go away) and severe RDS (respiratory distress syndrome) which is common in prem babies, not so much in term babies, which added to his trauma, as he fought the treatment being so big (angry baby!) We almost lost him twice but now he is fighting fit, an unbelievable change! They took 6 hours to stabilise him then took him to the...... hospital in ....... for special treatment on an oscillating ventilator, which basically vibrated his chest to recruit new alveoli (air sacs) to work again as they had become squashed. He is now back at our local hospital getting ready for coming home
Thankfully there seems to be no long term damage to his lungs and he will be fine.......
