Can any of you nice people point me in the direction of some rubrics for an 80 year old patient (female) who is suffering from both these things to a limited but annoying extent. Funnily enough the bladder is secure when she is out and worse when she has been sitting at home and the stool is worse when she has been out for a meal and is returning home (ok at home). I think I am interested most in some generalaties/modalities as the main specific rubrics are rather large and a bit random. She is a bit of a worrier and has some arthritis and a lot of sun related skin cancers of the non-malignant kind but otherwise is fine. I think this is weakening from old age and perhaps some prolapsing but would be interested in your ideas.

Yes probably is prolapsing. Check out any medication she is on.

There are so many rubrics for this, you could even take the obvious incontinence rubrics and look at the 'elderly' sub rubrics and Aloe (sphincters) and Equisetum (habitual forming tendency) become interesting. Am wondering why you have a problem with locating rubrics here.

Bit of a worrier? Does that mean she is able to keep control when away from home but <<< when at home (relaxing) - that might be a useful angle.

Rhus (in the rubric Shannon noted) could be worth looking at also taking into consideration the skin, worrying, as well as incontinence.
