Internet based Flu reporting & genus epidemicus project /was flu in US

Thanks JW !
It's good you've brought up the "too much trouble" objection.
To "counter" this objection (my elementary sales training techniques showing
thru) we'll need to provide
1. a perception of Value to be generated & recouped by participation
2. clear communication indicating the ease of participating
We'll need to come up with ways to make it as easy as possible for
homeopaths without internet access to report.
Please (anyone) contribute your ideas on this!
If we had a few volunteers as needed who'd be willing to
1. verify the "eligibility" of the data from a non-internet connected
(unwired
source
2. accept the reporting of data by fax or phone or postal (snail) mail
3. enter data via
a. website form (small number of reports)
b. local (on the volunteer's computer) data-collection program, with
collected data emailed daily (for larger number of reports)
I think that for journal publication, we should have a "theme" of providing
useful worldwide genus epidemicus information to each other by way of the
project; perhaps also hinting at possible value to homeopathy of current
anectdotal data indicating large numbers of flu cures.. with the future wide
open to large scale collection/collation of data related to other syndromes.
I'll start working on "press release" post haste; if anyone else would like
to take a hand at it, contribute, edit, or criticize; that will be great!
best regards,
Dave Hartley
