I have a patient who has done very well on homeopathy for his Myocardium Avium. Any expectorant is now clear and he rarely coughs up now whereas when he first came he was regularly coughing up strips of pink bacon like tissue and had far more SOB then he has now.
However he has insisted on having ultraviolet sun therapy at the hospital for his psoriasis. He hates the psoriasis and looks on it as a blemish although it is hidden (Yes he has had Thuja!!) . He is very thin, tired , like of strength and we now have appetite loss and he wondered if it as to do with the 3 tablets he has to take before each treatment but doesn't know the name of them as he is given them in the hospital. These tablets also make him very sensitive to pain if he knocks himself for a few days after the treatment.
I just wondered if anyone out there knows the name of these tablets so I can look up the side effects.

Thanks Joy - I have looked it up now and that appears to be the one. However it doesn't seem to relate to his symptoms. I am wondering if although the outward symptoms of his disease seem to have got better and allowing him to get on with his life the disease could be progressing with the anorexia, weight loss and fatigue. Sorry I wrote the wrong name for his disease - it should have been mycobacterium avium.

Possibly the sensitivity to pain if he knocks himself has something to do with the drug from a sx point of view but the thing is, that if his <<< has begun since taking this treatment as well as the drugs then this is simple (sic) suppression and the consequence is a <<< of his diseased state. If he has been suppressing the psoriasis for a long time then that will = his respiratory problems to date.

It is so sad that people cannot fully understand that disease is a whole and not parts - hopefully you can convince him that homeopathy will cure his Psoriasis as well as his respiratory ailments.

Don't worry Joy - He had the lecture before he started with this course of treatment but wanted to do it!!! I think he is having second thoughts about doing it again when his psoriasis returns which it always does!!
