Dear Members
I heard an very interesting symptom recently. The woman reported that
all music sounded the same to her. She could not differentiate
between 'country', 'pop' or any of her eclectic collection, simply
none of the music could be identified. I do not know where to go with
this as I have searched and searched and can find no clear match. I
feel this is the most 'SRP' symptom I have heard. Any pointers
appreciated.

That is pretty strange.

A sort of synesthesia, also a bit like non-verbal aphasia.

I think you may throw the most light on this by considering it a form of
synesthesia (old spelling synaesthesia, possibly still "correct" in U.K.) &
or aphasia

There is a symptom in Lyc. (from Allen's Handbook)
"inability to read, because he does not recognize letters, he can copy them,
but has no idea of their significance, he knows that Z is the last letter of
the alphabet, but has forgotten its name..."
