Dear Homoeopaths,

What is the one remedy thatwould cure a lady who write the following to; me:

"My immediate concern is my new spectacles which I got made in the
beginning of this month. They are just not o.k. even after trying for 2
weeks. The doctor doesn't admit that the power he has given is wrong. I
went to another doctor and checked and her prescription is different. So
I want to tell the doctor who prescrobed the spectacles and get him to
accept the mistake and rectify it. I just can't afford to waste money."
Instead of learning correct method of homoeopathy many are easting their time on aruging on useless points.

The remedy for the above lady is SPIGELIA. [See Kent's Lectures on homeopathic mat medica--Spigelia.

The funny thing about this is, that if you actually DO as he says, and
read Kent's Lectures on MM under Spigelia, Kent does in fact tells a
story about a patient who went from oculist to oculist, with many visual
troubles and no glasses would suit. But the remedy that Kent says cured
THAT case was....Lac. Fel.!!!!

So, how about you tell us please, what is the rest of the case, what
ELSE there was, that distinguished between these two remedies, since
based on this one symptom, one should not have been able to choose
between them (and your reference actually points to a DIFFERENT ONE)??

It seems to me just as useless to throw around misleading,
single-symptom "cases" with remedies for them, without explanation or
differential.

I think Lois has a strong point regarding differentials stating "It seems to me just as useless to throw around misleading, single-symptom "cases" with remedies for them, without explanation or differential". I do personally consider differentials as most important factor while selecting a remedy.
