Is it possible to treat genetic disorders in homeopathy i.e. down syndrome or tuberous scelerosis?

I know of Down's Syndrome symptoms being alleviated ( common mucus problems) and of children being treated homeopathically attending main schools and not being bottom of the class after rapid improvements with homeopathy. However you can't change the genetic make up of the cells. The remedy Clay was used by a lecturer of mine at college very successfully with more than one Down's Syndrome child.

Said this so many times before - people who have special needs and abilities such as Down Syndrome are first and foremost people and individuals and will present with sx that have individual causative factors, and sx pictures. With that in mind almost any rx in the MM could be the simillimum.
And again they are people who have down syndrome not down syndrome people - please don't define someone by either an illness or an imagined disability - as homeopaths and even as half decent people we should never do that. Same goes for any illness that someone might be suffering with - someone with cancer not a cancer person.
Anyway sure you get my points

Genetic disorders are incurable in any healing systems. I have also a genetic disease (neurofibromatosis). Being disgusted on allopathy and on homeopathic doctors, I made myself as a homeopathic doctor. From my study and experience, I believe that homeopathy can do miracle sometimes. So you should try to find a competent homeopathic doctor and keep yourself under his care.

David Little told me that one of his teachers in India was a
homeopathic Doctor
who specialized in Downs Syndrome. He would get his patients at an
early age. David saw some of them as teens and he said they were
functionally normal and he could only see a slight malformation
in their skull.
One would have to ask the philosophical question, is a miasm a
genetic disorder? Very few diseases are known to be _entirely_
of genetic cause. Usually there is a combination of nurture and
nature.

That is a very interesting question for homeopaths. Personally, I am convinced that a miasm is a genetic disorder - that the miasm has gone deep into the genes.
Allopaths, for example, will say that syphilis is an infectious disease, acquired from either the mother during pregnancy/birth or the father at conception, which results in inherited syphilis. There is no mention of it being transmitted to following generations if it is 'treated' properly with antibiotics. However, as homeopaths, we know that certain 'syphilitic' traits run in successive generations and manifest themselves by a tendency to certain kinds of patholgy. So as a homeopath, I can see that the 'energy' of the destructive organism has been grafted on to the genes of successive generations.
It seems to me that anything reproduced in following generations has changed the genetic code. We have a more modern example in those children born deformed after the mothers had taken thalidomide in pregnancy - not only were their immediate children born deformed, but apparently the next generation of children born to those unhappy children are also proving to have deformities. So it would seem that thalidomide has caused a new miasm to appear - admittedly it's not due to a disease, but the results are similar.

I also heard, decades back, of someone who used orthomolecular (very high-dose vitamins and etc.) method with these children, and achieved just beautiful results--(nearly?) complete resolution of (nearly?) all issues, both M/E and also structural. Unfortunately in that approach the nutritional support needed to be ongoing, so it was not curative. But I think that does go to Roger's point about even this condition being not *purely* genetic; it seems the genes are part of an "if / then" sequence, not necessarily determinative in themselves.
Many diseases are now thought to be "epigenetic"--that is, due to factors of the genes' 3-D structure, rather than due to gene sequence, and I would think these would be more amenable to repair, but I guess that doesn't make much practical difference at this point...

Genetic code is not the only thing passed from one generation to the next! E.g. parents' nutritional status (including but not limited to the uterine environment) also influences the baby's health and development, but can be righted again if nutrition again becomes adequate--and even "merely normal" nutrition will right it after I think 5 or so generations, was what I'd read? So that's not genetic, but maybe in part epigenetic. (And in part effects of simple nutrition of the fetus, through the uterine environment.)

In Allopathy we do not have "Inherent syphilis" and the syphlilis which is transmitted to the child is called "Congenital syphilis".

if it would be impossible to cure, or repair, genetic disorders,
then we, and probably everything living on this planet, would all
have been taken over by fatal genetic disorders a very long time
ago, and would have ceased to be.
So, I’d like to suggest, or pose as a proposition, that there is
nothing absolutely static about genes. Some errors may be (very)
hard to repair, but (.. and now please start reading my first
sentence again..)
