Harris Coulter and Catherine Coulter...a correction

Friends,

It was previously asserted that Harris Coulter is the "father" of Catherine Coulter (who was reported to be a homeopath AND a fiction writer). This info is not correct.

First, Harris and Catherine Coulter were husband and wife, though they were divorced around 20 years ago.

Second, there is a famous novelist by the name of "Catherine Coulter," but she is NOT the same person as the homeopath, Catherine Coulter.

Finally, Teresa Kramer correctly noted that Harris never practiced homeopathy. Instead, he was a fabulous historian...in fact, he was the leading historian to specialize in homeopathic history.

Sadly, Harris Coulter passed away in October, 2009.

OK. I get it. I've been corrected */_several times_/* at least.

I understand I made assumptions and was I admit I was wrong.

It would be nice if anyone had said "Wow! That's cool! I didn't know
that! I have 2 patients that have immune issues that we can see if this
idea will help!"

It's always amazing when a person has the guts to post some idea,
observation, or success - publicly, and everyone feels they have to
correct - MULTIPLE Times..... but never once say, What a Unique Idea!
Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Jennifer --

It does seem that it's often easy to overlook others' responses before posting, and even to overlook original posts before posting the same information as they contained (which I assume is why a link to the same article is sometimes posted three times). Maybe there are just too many messages. A bit frustrating for you, obviously, and even for other readers. At least nobody took you to task on the other three errors in your opening three sentences. Anyway, you're right: what you paraphrased Harris saying about the typhoid nosode is very interesting. It would be more interesting still to know whether the nosode has a potentially homoeopathic relationship in some AIDS cases, if anybody has access to pathogenetic symptoms of the nosode.

Cheers --

John
