Dear supporters

I am writing to you because you have been active in helping H:MC21 to achieve its success. Uschi has had to withdraw from an active role for health reasons, and this leaves me trying to forge on alone. Also I am standing for the Board of Directors of the Society of Homeopaths this year. In short, we need to encourage a new group of people to be actively involved in H:MC21.

H:MC21 has nearly 6,000 people on its mailing list. These supporters include homeopaths from all the UK registers as well as patients, and are spread across the UK. A number of supporters are from other countries. We have, therefore, the potential to challenge the attacks on homeopathy on a larger scale than any other homeopathic organisation.

As a first step, we are inviting you to a meeting (map attached) at:

2.30 - 5 p.m. Sunday 18 April 2010 at the Marchmont Community Centre, 62 Marchmont Street, London

This meeting will discuss and decide on:
• What H:MC21 should do next
• What H:MC21's priorities should be
• Who will be on its organising committee

We feel that the groundwork has been laid and NOW is the time for our supporters to take H:MC21 beyond what its creators have been able to achieve. As Chair of the Board of Trustees, I will continue to be involved, and I am happy to write for the organisation, speak at meetings, and so on. At the same time it will become YOUR organisation, able to harness the confidence, anger and scale of all those we have brought together, who know that homeopathy has been unjustly attacked.

Please let us know if you can come, and send any ideas which you think should be discussed. These will be circulated by email before the meeting date.
