Moaning while sick

I moaned on the two occasions where I was so badly off I thought I was going to do/and wanted to die to make it stop. Both involved violent vomiting, with the first also involving diarrhea at the same time. The first event I went to the emergency room where they put me on an IV as I was horribly dehydrated. I was moaning and a nurse told me to be quiet. It's very likely it was food poisoning although no medical person ever said that. The second event was at night, where in addition to vomiting violently, I could not walk. As soon as I tried, I would crumple to the floor. That, I concluded, after a called the dentist I had seen earlier that day, was an allergic reaction to the topical anesthetic.
Please don't refer to moaning while ill as strange. If you look at yoga and some spiritual practices, the "Om" sound, the "Ah" sound in Amen, e.g., along with research on this in anthropology, it's probably deeply rooted response to severe stress. The power of breathing out. The power of sound. "In the beginning was the word," for example, also.
