I've started a new project on my materia medica study methods site - the Organon Blog.
The Organon is the basic "how-to" manual for homeopaths, but many don't read it or don't remember it because the language is "heavy" - even in the O'Reilly translation. In addition, even for those who do read it, it's often hard to "claim", to make your own, because of the language and because it's most often studied aphorism by aphorism and not as a whole. A lot of people never do get to the end. A lot of people aren't completely honest about that either...If you've read till here and none of this speaks to you this probably isn't relevant for you.
The idea of the Organon Blog is a collective, interactive effort to translate the Organon into colloquial english. Translation usually lays great stress on translating the words accurately - here I'm looking for translation of the sense, using any form of language that's modern and fun. I'll put up my "translations" on the blog. Anyone participating can do so "silently" - i.e. just play with translation and keep it at home - or "interactively" - put your translation up as a comment on the blog. I've enabled a rating feature, so readers can choose which translations they like best.
