Hi joy,

i was also taught that lyc is "hot" (the characteristic - that inspite of
being a hot patient desires warm drinks/food etc) , but kent says -

"Externally there is sensitiveness to a warm atmosphere when there are head
and spine symptoms."
"The patient is sensitive to cold and there is a marked lack of vital heat,
and worse in general from cold and cold air and from cold food and drinks."
"The pains are ameliorated from warmth except of the head and spine."

personally i ve seen lyc symptoms in both hot and chilly patients, and so
does not use it (thermal state) as a contraindication for lyc

regards,
Arun
