POTENCY INDICATIONS:

Dear Charlotte,

Dear Lisa, My replies to your comments will be marked with my intials:
"Lots of people over the years have tried to demystify potency, and I read
Divya article with interest but cannot wholly agree with her."
CG: Was there an article published? Where did you see it?
"She cites examples of someone having a fear of dogs at 30c not being so
intense, meaning that the person can express the fear and still live a
normal life. She goes on to say that the person who needs lM finds it
difficult to cope with the fear, and to continue normal life, because their
delusion or fear of dogs is ever-present and they will see a dog from miles
away. This theory goes back to the belief that the higher the potency the
deeper the state or disease, e.g. a delusion that one is criticised at 30c
would be that they think they are criticised but actually realise that it
may not be a reality but something to do with their sensitivity. At 1M they
believe comments directed towards them are definate criticisms and cannot be
persuaded otherwise.
When I read this what immediately sprang to mind was a friend of mine who's
fear of dogs was so intense she would cross the road if she saw one coming
from a long way away. One day one came in her back gate and she fainted. I
gave her one Stram 30 on that and other symptoms and she now owns two dogs
of her own. According to this theory she needed lM but 30c cured."
CG: This is a very interesting anecdote. The 30c certainly worked--no one
could argue with that! However, for the most part, I have found Divya's
proving findings to be helpful for me.
"I have also found on experimentation of potency over the last few years
that
6c and 30c
are very effective potencies and cure many case without having to ascend to
lM and further. I did not find the same to be true when I used mainly high
potencies."
CG: I'm having trouble reading your type: are you sayiing LM or 1M?
Anyway, I'm interested in your discoveries about 6c and 30c. Are there any
particular indications that lead you to choose one of those potencies?
"I think further work on potency is great but I suspect we will never fit it
in to tight compartments."
CG: Really? Darn! I keep hoping for more solidity and clear-cut answers!

Warm wishes,
Charlotte Gilruth
