This sort of intellectual slam dunking reminds me of what motivated Princess Di to kiss, cuddle and shake hands with people known to have HIV/AIDS.
You'd have thought that there would be some kind of understanding of susceptibility here.
One can understand anti vaccination groups drumming up information like this but where is the proof. And I would offer that the abandoning of sugar lumps went hand in hand with dental campaigns against the danger of too much sugar, even though needles scare most people and the drug and related companies could make more money out of it. Although that isn't the issue here. Understanding the nature of disease is.
I think it pays to be more curious. Or live in isolation with your fears.
