Hi,
I am looking for any info about the rx CYNODON DACTYLON especially in colitis and diarrea etc., and about the potencies in which it is used.
Why do remedia and ainsworths have it only in 33c or 200c and above? it is not a poison, is it?
(Helios has it from 6x).

Helios have it in a huge range, the full range up to 10m I believe. Hardly any provings but 6x and 200 were used as far as I can find out. Perhaps another proving was done just using 33c but Ainsworths/Remedia will tell you more if you ask them.

It is a grass and like many of this family they have a huge affinity to the digestive system and all it ailments. Not poisonous as often used herbally as a decoction.

Cynodon-Dactylon, popularly known in India as Doorba, is a grass which grows throughout that country.
It belongs to the Graminaceae order.
The Sanskrit name for this plant is Grantha Doorba Bhargavi.
Cynodon-Dactylon flowers throughout the whole year.
Analysis of the green grass gave the following average composition (on a dry matter basis) : *
This is an elegant perennial plant, used in some of the religious ceremonies of the country.
The freshly extracted juice of the grass is useful for haematuria, vomiting and as an application for conjunctivitis.
A decoction of the plant is used as a diuretic and can be useful for dropsy and anasarca.

Chakradatta has mentioned it as being an excellent remedy for scabies and amenorrhoea.
Jugan Kishore carried out a Hahnemannian Proving on three provers, two men and one woman.

The potencies used were the mother tincture, 6x, and 200K.
The stock of Cynodon-Dactylon was supplied by the Hahnemannian Publishing Co., of Calcutta.

Symptomatology
Generalities
General weakness, more marked in the hands, with difficulty in writing.
General lassitude; laziness; aversion to work.
The least physical effort causes pain all over.
Mental work causes frontal headaches.

Mind
Psychological
Irritable, quarrelsome, flies into a rage.
Angry without cause .
Aversion to noise and does not want to be spoken to.
Desires jolly company.

Nervous
Headache after anger.
Forehead hot and heavy.
Pain on the right side of the head, and in very localized areas of the body.
Headache after mental exertion.

Digestive system
