Septic shock update

Firstly she seems to have survived whatever it is. They gave her a tracheotomy and brought her out of her sedation last week. Meanwhile her feet started to go black . I offered Secale via my husband - although I doubt the message was passed on- as this brought a black toe back from gangrene with a former patient who was going to have it amputated. The current state of affairs is that she is breathing on her own, sat up and has now been moved to a High Dependency ward from ICT. They have been threatening to operate on the feet but haven't as yet . The woman herself is now feeling guilt that she has survived as her Aunts child died young from chemotherapy induced pneumonia which of cause is a completely difference scenario!!!
