Nat-M keeps coming up in the repping for this, but somehow it doesn't "feel" right. Periodic headaches, every couple of months, waking from sleep around 10 p.m., with hysterical shrieking and loss of control, heat sensation, pink face and perspiration. Afterwards person feels fine, sleeps well, wakes refreshed, no "hangover". Any thoughts?

Are you saying this person wakes with the headache acting in a hysterical manner and then is able to fall asleep again and is then ok during the rest of sleep? Sepia, Tarent, Ign, Nux vom, Lach, Kali carb, Bryonia, Apis (3 of these are acutes of nat mur)? You don't think of Nat mur as losing control and being hysterical.
But it would help to know what type of H/a it is with any other modalities.

Sounds like a seizure?
Are the conscious during the episode, and do they remember it afterwards?
Any pattern to the episodes--have they kept track of dates and/or preceding circumstances?
