She is still in Intensive Care. Over the week she has improved very little despite the strongest antibiotics. Tests show her white blood cells are still fighting something. The bigwigs are on the case only because it is so unusual that someone who took herself into hospital because of abdomen pains ended up in that state in a few hours. Scans of her kidneys where they thought the problem lay showed nothing. They are going to do a tracheotomy and then start to bring her out of sedation. Needless to say I have yet again indirectly via my husband - as I don't speak to the person who's niece it is- offered to prescribe a homeopathic remedy but not even sure if the message has got through.

I have been wondering since you mentioned the case what one would do.
A fulminate Streptococcal infection could cause Septic shock.[ Tampons have been blamed before now ] You mentioned Pyrogenium which is reasonable, Joy Carbo Veg but ?? Aconite at start ,then Belladonna or Apis in high potency. One would think the right remedy would help a lot . Very interesting to reflect on, Jean

When she comes out of the sedation she will definitely need Aconite. Apparently the tracheotomy is so she can breathe and doesn't panic when they bring her out of the sedation.

So what about the mastoid pain . Pain around ear??

This was a letter that went to the wrong place about another matter. Someone who doubted was improving on Capsicum but in actual fact pain behind and about the ear had deceased considerably. Certainly regarding your case makes no sense, Regards Jean

Fear of finding herself in hospital, surrounded by 3 nurses studying monitors continuously with tubes everywhere on her and a tracheotomy so she can't talk as she won't have been shown how.

It's No. 1 remedy for fright that I know of and anyway this is a hypothetical case which will not be allowed access to treat unfortunately.
