Hi all,

I had my last amalgam filling removed today. Fortunately, my dentist is one that believes in amalgam illness and energy work. She used a rubber dam on me during the procedure. She also believes in homeopathy so she gave me a bottle of "Mora"which is impregnated with my amalgam filling. She also gave me a bottle of Homeopathic Systemic drainage to help my body detoxify.

May I know if this itself would be sufficient or do i still need to seek homeopathic care to help me detoxify all the mercury in my body/blood stream? Thanks

giving you remedies is not homeopathy. many allopaths use the remedies in an allopathic way.
i don't think they will hurt you, but to be clear, this is not homeopathy. if you get benefits, good, but
i have a big issue with how allopaths try to coopt homeopathy and confuse the public. and have
no idea what 'homeopathic systemic drainage' is. there is no such remedy. it is probably a combination
of different remedies in such low potency that they carry biological material in them.
if you have concerns, then have your case taken properly by a well trained classical homepath.

Esp. where the dam was used, and if Priscilla hasn't been having severe prior problems that would suggest prior toxicity or sensitivity.

Priscilla, I would not worry!! I'd wait and *see* whether everything seems to be fine, and probably it is!
(Homeopathic drainage is a non-classical approach, which most folks here aren't familiar with and don't approve of. Having had it used on myself, before I knew anything else about homeopathy, I'd say it can indeed be effective and I saw none of the horrible aftereffects that some people warn of!!! I'd say don't worry--but continuing your search for and work with a good homeopath will also make sure the tooth situation resolves cleanly; they would not specifically treat that, unless symptoms were to arise that seemed to indicate it needed separate treatment.

Eve with the precaution measures some mercury will always get into the blood and the mercury apparently goes through the dam

Sounds like your dentist is clearing out the mercury with a tautopathic prescription. And it should be enough - in my experience it works very well.
All I would say is that taking a supplement such as coriander or chlorella alongside the remedies will help to mop up the heavy metals from your amlagam and safely remove them from the body - you could get some from you local health shop.
