There is to be a release of information on Thursday that may be of interest.
This information was just forwarded through another group.

Leading members of the Learning and Developmental Disabilities Initiative (LDDI), along with other colleagues in the environmental health field, will release a new biomonitoring report: Mind, Disrupted: How Toxic Chemicals May Affect How We Think and Who We Are this Thursday, February 4th.

The Mind, Disrupted report and related fact sheets will be available to the public on the website (http://www.minddisrupted.org) as of 9:00 AM Eastern on Thursday.

Here are the important details for all of Thursday's events:

9:15 AM EST: Press only teleconference:
LDDI colleagues who participated in the biomonitoring study will present on a press only teleconference to release the Mind, Disrupted report. Speakers will include: Maureen Swanson, the Healthy Children Project Coordinator of the Learning Disabilities Association of America; Jeff Sell, Esq., father of twin sons with autism and Vice President for Policy of the Autism Society of America; and Larry Silver, MD, past president of the Learning Disabilities Association of America, clinical psychiatrist and author of the Understanding and Coping with Your Child's Learning Disabilities.

10:00 AM EST: Senate Hearing:
Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Superfund, Toxics, and Environmental Health, will convene a hearing to examine the current science on public exposures to toxic chemicals.
REMINDER: The Mind, Disrupted website (http://www.minddisrupted.org) will not be live and available until Thursday at 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
