Hi! I am thankfull to you for showing the interest to understand what
our school is sharing.I would like to share with you what exactly we
predictive group means by treating a disease person…The prescription for any
case according to Dr. Vijaykar is not on miasmatic or intercurrent,it is for
Man in disease. Homoeopathic treatment is not just a treatment of disease or
symptoms in a man. It is a full-fledged therapy which aims at treating ' the
MAN in disease and not the DISEASE in MAN. The eczema on skin is treated
with local oihtments and antiallergic tablets; colds and coughs are treated
with cough syrups, asthma and broncho-spasms are treated with
spasm-relievers and broncho-dilators; arthritis, sciatica, spondylitis etc
are treated with anti-inflamatory and pain-killer
tablets;tonsillitis,bronchitis and other infections are treated with
antibiotics, anti-viral and other symptom-reliever etc. etc. Sometimes even
few so called homeopaths treat this disease with specific,for example
graphites for skin eruptions,Ignatia for greif,hepar for boils ….All these
so called diseases and symptoms go on recurring and hence there can be no
real eradication or cure!,but dissaperrance of symptoms.
Recurrent tonsillitis or recurrent bronchitis in a child or
a person, which is very common, is cause by infection or reinfection with by
a virus or bacteria like streptococcus, staphylococcus etc. The contemporary
treatment involes the use of antibiotics to kill or annihilate the bacteria
to give relief to the patient. But the symptoms and the disease return
within 3 weeks time due ti advent of new group or generation of the same
bacteria as soon as the patient is exposed to cold air, cold drinks, change
of weather or any other precipitating cause. This clearly means that the
virus or bacteria are returning to the tissues where they get food or
nourishment. These tissues or organs, like tonsils, throat, lunges of the
suffering person are providing invitation to them in the form of food. This
occurs when the tissues are full of toxins and this happens when the
immunity or resistance-power of the tissues and of the person as a whole is
low. The chief cause of the recurrent illness is not the poor bacteria or
virus [ who are suppose to co-exist with us in this world], but the
invitation provided to them by the patients' reduced resistance power' or
immunity. This explains how only one family member can suffer from recurrent
infection though staying in the same condition, eating the same food
etc.Even this is explained by Kent as Diathesis-Expression of man
being..Define it as a individual herditary disposition to contract a
particular group of sickness.He further says..It ihas no foundation but just
an imagination.This he said as he had no base to say on Genetics.
Our homeopathic remedies work on the body by reaction on body ,not by it's
action. So it just stimulates our morphogeneic gradients in our body to
enhance the cure by eliminating toxins in our body. By balancing all the
metabolic activities in the human body the homeopathic remedies modulate the
immunity and increase your resistance in such a manner that the patient
develops resistance to the bacteria or virus, thereby eliminating the
disease from root cause. This makes the patient so healthy that they start
tolerating those things, which allergic to. The total eradication of the
disease in man'.
This is true of all the other recurrent illness that harass the human
race. Besides colitis, appendicitis, urinary tract infection, asthmatic
bronchitis, dermatitis and eczema otitis i.e pus and infection in the ears,
sinusitis, headaches, migraines, all these and many more diseases can be
eliminated with ease following the RIGHT constitutional homeopathic
treatment.
How does Homoeopathy tackle chronic disease?
CHRONIC DISEASES like hypertension, diabetes, thyroid problems, hairfall,
obesity, hyperlipiadaemias including increased levels of cholesterol and
triglycerides, gout with increased uric acid levels can all be cured at the
onset if not due to any gross pathology. If very old in origin these
diseases can be only controlleds with a similar approach of making the man
healthy and weakening the expression of the disease.
Adverse circumstances faced by a person throughout his or her life have
different reactions and repercussions inside his bio-chemistry depending you
what mettle he or she is made of or how tough or soft he or she is.
Circumstances like:
(a) A Shock of loss of husband/wife/parents or any dear loved one or shocks
due to financial loss.
(b) Prolonged grief of not having a child or having had to stay in
discomforting circumstances under monetary stress, a dominating husband or a
nagging wife, or a dictatorial father or mother-in-law, or a crippled,
mentally retarded child, or a son gone astyray.
(c) Vexation and suppression of desires at home, work, at play, at studies.
(d) Indignation and insults suffered at the hands of people whom you cannot
retaliate.
(e) Fear, fright, anxiety caused by circumstances.
(f) Abuse of drugs and alcoholism.
(g) Deceived friendships, disappointment in love, wounded love.
(h) Changes in emotional set-up during menopause in women.
All these and many other circumstances bring about changes in secretion from
pituitary or hypothalamus [limbic system] of neurotransmitters. These in
turn bring about changes in blood biochemistry. The chemistry of the blood
that is supplying nutrition to each and every cell of the body changes.
This brings about changes in the cellular functions and therefore changes
away from the normal in the organs of the body resulting in physical or
mental diseases.
Chronic disease like hypertension, atherosclerosis or heart ailments,
diabetes, thyroid problems, high fat levels in the body e.g. increased
cholesterol and triglycerides etc, high uric acid levels and many more
imbalances in the blood are as a result of the above mentioned phenomena.
They can very well be controlled [if very old and chronic] or even cured at
an early state if the nature of the person is corrected which in turn will
correct the changes in blood chemistry.
The homeopathic treatment does not include any such 'anti' treatments e.g.
anti-hypertensives for high blood pressure, anti-spasmodic for pain,
anti-histaminic for allergy etc but emphasizes in treating the root cause to
eliminate and eradicate the diseases.
Why Homeopaths require a long history?
Homeopathic treatment hence involves in 'understanding' the suffering
'patient as a whole'. A homeopath needs to know:
(a) What has caused the illness [e.g. grief, anger, insult, etc].
(b) What is the type of person suffering i.e.
q What is the physical make up and looks of the person?
q What type of nature does he have? e.g. angry, dominating, introvert or
extrovert, anxious, fearful or courageous, religious or non-religious, etc
q How has this person reacted to the bad or good incidence (every individual
responds differently to different situations)?
q What are the things which a person can or cannot tolerate or is sensitive
to e.g. sun, wind, snow, noise, light etc.
# Any special desires for eating or drinking e.g. ice creams, fruits.
# Any special likes, dislikes, loves e.g. love for animals, plants, nature,
sea, mountains, crafts, drawing etc.
#What types of diseases were suffered by parents e.g. Tuberculosis, Cancers,
Arthritis, and Hypertension, which help us to know the genetic set-up.
All these and many more pieces of information needs to be gathered by a
homeopathic physician to treat the patient holistically, comprehensively and
permanently. Hence good history taking is very-very important for a
homeopath, to help his patients.
SCOPE OF HOMEOPATHY:
Beside allergies, infections [acute or chronic], all types of arthritis and
rheumatic affections and diabetes and hypertension; the scope homeopathy
extends to marvelous treatment and control of schizophrenias, manias and
even cancers!
Here the name of the disease does not matter much, essentially because it is
the MAN who has to be cured (the cause to be removed) and the disease
(without gross pathology) which is an effect, disappears by itself!
