Skeptic 'Mass Overdose' Boots Protest
Saturday 30th January 2010 at 10 am
(This message is being sent to all Homeopathy Heals Supporters - apologies for late sending)
LONDON Main Event:
Meet 10.00am Saturday 30th January
outside Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London WC1R 4RL
At 10:23am on January 30th skeptics (and more than three hundred homeopathy sceptics nationwide) will be taking part in a mass homeopathic 'overdose' in protest at Boots' continued endorsement and sale of homeopathic remedies, and to raise public awareness, saying that homeopathic remedies have nothing in them. Organized by Skeptics in the Pub.
Note that this event is then immediately followed by the CFI UK TRICK OR TREATMENT event with Simon Singh, John Garrow and Andy Lewis, also at Conway Hall.
If you live in London, please join other homeopathic practitioners who are going to witness the above Main Event.
We are expecting to have a banner with the words:
Homeopathy Heals !
- Waiting for Science to Catch Up
www.homeopathyheals.me.uk
You can also promote homeopathy Saturday morning by attending the
Skeptic 'Mass Overdose' which is also being held outside main branches of Boots in the following cities: Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol, Glasgow, Birmingham, Southampton.
Homeopathic Practitioners all over the UK, can also go and check out whether these Skeptics really do swallow a whole bottle of Boots homeopathic medicine. I have found out that after you unscrew the top of a bottle of Boots homeopathic medicine, there is a little hole to dispense one pill at a time and this part does not lift off, so it would be impossible to swallow the whole bottle without cutting the bottle open. Therefore some Skeptics will have to take them one at a time!
You can download the attached leaflet to hand out created by Alex Heffron to counter the
10:23 Skeptic Campaign.
