I just went through the course work. I am so impressed with the notes that I see up on the classroom bulletin board so far. If all my questions are not answered about those topics, the kernel for the discussion is clearly laid out in great thoughtful detail. In the notes that I have read so far, there are brilliant insights and then there are these simple guidelines in charts etc. I love the combination. The testing session of the internet software showed so many facilities for class participation. I know I will feel totally involved with my classmates and the group effort. From Feb 4th, I will be working toward this classwork until August 5th every week. This is better than being there in person for a crash course because I can really dig into the material with enough time for thought. Thank-you so much Grant and Louise. i had previously asked but perhaps you missed my post. does this system use all the remedies, or does it limit itself to just the polychrests.

I second that, Ellen--it looks great!
I'd read his first book (Appearance and Circumstances) when it came out a few years ago, and wished I could follow up and actually learn the method. So now, thanks in part to your enthusiastic posts I did take the leap and sign up. Still have to learn to use the dumb camera, sigh...

I've got lots of questions waiting in the wings, and my own plan for adding observations re other correlations (body type for e.g., which I've wished for years I could find--or take the time to research--more information on). I love objective correlations!

Can I add my encouragement that anyone with any hint of interest take a look at the www.vcch.org website.

Hi Tanya,

They are continuing to investigate and classify more remedies. I suppose the missing 10% (he says experienced practitioners get a 90% success rate with this method) may have in part to do with remedies that still need to be better understood and classified within the system; that's just my guess, tho. I saw nothing to suggest that one is *limited* to those remedies, tho. Take a look at the website! www.vcch.org

Just start taking pictures. I did everything at first just with the book. I didn't know that Grant and Louise were such great people and would correct me. Anyway, I did a number of cases, just following the instructions in the book. They actually came out. What I missed in my reading is there is a point system. It is somewhere in the book, but I missed that. After Louise pointed it out to me, I could do it. About the picture taking skills, It took so long before someone who knew how to take pictures took me aside and showed me what I was doing wrong. That's all I really needed. I had to keep my finger on the button long enough for the camera to adjust to the light. Then press the button totally. You learn from your mistakes.
I would look at their text material. I copied everything into a word document so I could add my own questions and also add things I got from the discussion. If this method is as good at it feels to me now, I plan to teach it.

I am sitting here with a broad smile on my face: finding the simillimum was sometimes difficult, but taking the photos more so, till Ellen knew the trick of it?! Would there were a trick for finding the simillimum that was as easy! Maybe I am smiling so because our daughter is a photographer—and prefers not to touch homeopathy.
