Homoeopathy is about listening to the person's symptoms, whatever they are, (including the examples you have been asking about over the last few days), and then matching them up to a substance that has been shown to cause the same set of symptoms. Giving this substance in a potentised minimum dose has been shown consistantly to help the body move through the symptoms towards a state of health.
Symptoms are the best indicator of what the body needs to heal, a large part homoeopathy is about learning to listen to and recognise symptom pictures. The disease labels that go with sets of symptoms, while sometimes helpful, are not essentially relevant in finding a supportive remedy.
Maybe find an introductory class to learn about using remedies in acute/first aid situations and you will experience the potential and be convinced that homoeopathic treatment can help with chronic issues too. It is amazing to hear people report back things like - 'after we talked to you, my wife took just one drop of that remedy you prescribed, and the pain she had, which would usually last for days, just vanished, we couldn't believe it' this was a throbbing pain (I can't remember if it was an earpain or a headache) accompanied by veritgo, worse for the slightest movement, prescribed Belladonna 30c. One of my favorite memories happened after I gave my daughter a dose of Arnica 30c for a pain she had in her elbow - later the same day she was watching a program on TV which was claiming to have investigated homoeopthy and found it did nothing - she kept bending and flexing the elbow which had been sore and now wasn't, looking at the elbow, looking back at the TV, and then looked at me and said 'they don't know what they are talking about, it does work'.
Sometimes finding the best remedy is a bit complicated, especially when there is longstanding complicated chronic illness, and takes some trial and error, and time investment.

Hello,
I have two friends with OCB, Symptoms include obsessive about hygiene and the need to constantly washing hands, taking long time in the bath room etc... counselling has not helped.
Would homeopathy have a solution to heal them?
