Individualization of Plants

Post by navneet bidani »

We always say that each & every individual is different, having different genetic & environmental make-up. We also say that plants & animals are also living beings having different genetic code & properties even in same species. That means every say Pulsatilla plant will differ from other Pulsatilla plant in its make up & properties. Say if I grow a Pulsatilla plant here in India & you grow a Pulsatilla in your continent, due to different climate conditions & soil contents, do both these plants will have different properties……??? If yes, then how can we rely upon the medicines prepared from animals or plants growing in different localities? Do both these plants will produce different signs & symptoms in drug proving?

If every plant is different from its counterpart than it must show different properties & different cure -------- individualization of plants…..… Isn’t it?

Yet the similarities are *so much* more significant than the differences.
Personally I'd guess there *could* be some differences between effects of plants grown in extremely different places and circumstances, but I'd bet still would be generally serviceable.

One rather extreme example we have is the difference between Tarentula hispanica (which if I remember right was made from a live spider?) and Tarentula cubensis, made from a spider that had accidentally died and decayed on the journey; the element of decay (sepsis, toxemia) is very strong in the second remedy, but not in the first...
