A patient has mild bleeding and she is about 11 weeks pregnant and still breast feeding her 9 month old baby. Any suggestions? I have not spoken to her as she is resting in bed.
I have found
Female; abortion; month, week; second month; third month, or: (9) apis, CIMIC, KALI-C, SABIN, SEC, senec, thuj, tril, vib,

Female; abortion; month, week; third month: (18) APIS, bell, cimic, CROC, des-ac, EUP-PUR, KALI-C, KREOS, MERC, NUX-V, plb, SABIN, SEC, sep, thuj, TRIL, UST, vib,

Female; BLEEDING; uterus, metrorrhagia; pregnancy, during; 3rd month (5) croc, kali-c, KREOS, sabin, thuj,

I don't want to suggest anything that may bring on a miscarriage.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Thanks

Did she have anything happen (like an internal exam or intercourse) that may be treatable with Arnica instead of thinking of the fetus aborting right away?
I wouldn't say spotting (rather than actual bleeding) is abnormal at 11 weeks. Some women spot for months at their normal period time after they become pregnant.
I'd think about treating for fear if she has it.
Best,
Lisa

I have spoken to her husband who says that she spoke to the midwife who just told her to rest., She thinks it may be from lifting the baby too much today

I have just found this under Cinnamon from Clarke.

Pregnancy; BLEEDING; uterus, during pregnancy; lifting, from, straining, overstretch ing arms, or taking false step (1) cinnam,

I might get her to take some cinnamon with her cereal for breakfast!!

I used Sabin or sec- can't remember which - years ago with a patient who was starting her 5th miscarriage- at about 4-5 months. Ended up with lovely baby at the and. Seems to remember it was low potency- probaby 12c or maybe 30

OK - thanks for that. It's more likely to have been Sabina. At the moment it is more spotting I think than bleeding. I will speak to her in the morning.

YOu need more information than this but if you have nothing else to prescribe on go for Viburnum opulus. This remedy will prevent more abortions than all other medicines put together (unfortunately it is not a cure-all)

Thanks for that one!! I do have it in a 3x.
She was fine the next day after an early night, bleeding has stopped so I didn't prescribe anything.
All the best
