that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row

I've seen several cases of bad reactions (in one case near fatal) from constant daily dosing with unchanged dry potencies. Amongst the px were homeopathy students who felt uncomfortable confronting charismatic teachers - leads to another issue, I believe teachers shouldn't treat their students, but that's another thread.
The way I see it:
- I've seen bad reactions
- Hahnemann expressly speaks out against it in the Organon and talks of potential irreversible damage
- It is possible to work differently, even in dry dose
- Why sacrifice my peace of mind as a homeopath?
In addition, the water potencies make it so easy to change the potency slightly so why not go that direction? People on this list are very quick to defend non-homeopathic or mixopathy etc. on the basis that the most important thing is results - alleviating human suffering. Ultimately results do set some methods/methodologies ahead of others depending on the practitioner. But Hahnemann says (freely transcribed from a personal interview...no, just kidding) of the water potencies "try it, you'll like it". But try it exactly according to his instructions. I'm very deeply sceptical, but decided to try it anyway almost 6 years ago, doubting all the time (who says intention makes a difference?) and got really good results.
Even though it can be more of a fuss dealing with bottles, instructions that are more complex, px compliance, much more intensive follow up and case management, I found the peace of mind was worth it.
