Minutus

Any suggestions on how to rep this? Px constantly apologises when ill for putting people to any trouble, but she doesn't do this at all when well, is quite happy have others go out of their way to fall in with her desires.

something about Delusions, done something wrong?
is she seeing her being ill as a moral weakness to apologize for?
what does she say about her being ill? what does it mean to her to be ill/weak/debilitated?

I reckon this would be quite an Arsenicum thing to do as they would want to keep the hand that feeds them happy!!

She seems to just feel really bad to put others to any trouble, and it's odd because when she's well she doesn't get into that. The px is a teenage girl. The Arsenicum idea is interesting. She's doing well now on Staph in acute, Ign has been very helpful for her in the past, also Nat-m.

It probably needs further investigation but you could start with the 'asks for nothing rubric' which might take you onto 'indifference, to his illness', something like that although doesn't quite push the right buttons to me. More like embarrassed to be weakened to the extent she needs help so tries to push it away - quite Natrum like? 'Consolation agg.'

There is a rubric 'contradict' -maybe even 'capricious' would fit the case as in Puls.
Maybe she is fearful about being ill - Arnica has that sx, 'says they are well when not' - it is usually shock that puts them there but can be the fear of being ill as well.

To what extent does she want help when well. If this is a strong sx then best to go with that and cross refer both the consolation >> and << rubrics and see if there is the same rx in both.

Just teasing some thoughts out - so when she's well, is there a sense of entitlement/expectation/lack of acknowledgement that people look after her?
What effect does her feeling bad have on other people - does it draw more attention than if she were graceful about it, does it stop people from helping her, or change the quality of the help in any way?
