A horror on your meal plate!

Watching the above video, how the KFC treats the chicken, while alive , all sounds so inhuman. I think it is the city dwellers who sponsor such cruel butchers by eating at their outlets.

The chicken
1. Live in an area less than that of a full scape paper all their life
2. They get their beaks blunted by a melting and chipping device
3. Forced to lay eggs, they lose all calcium to such an extent that they cannot walk.
4. Even at this state, they are taken for butchering.

We homeopaths know that the body will be toxic when they spend a sedentary life. When they are given all vaccines, and antibiotics and some injections that 'induce' egg production, we know the toxicity level. Further, when they are killed slowly and painfully what kind of adrenalin level will be there in the body ?

Extreme fright, and agony for those helpless creatures! Human race has gone mad.

trust me, it is not just city dwellers. i live rurally and most people
think kfc or mcdonald's is the standard dinner out with the kids. and
then there are the teenagers and college kids that keep these places
in business! it is so bad that most people give directions based on
proximity to these fast food places.
the film supersize me was a major tour de force with those who saw it.
i know my foster granddaughter who lived on that stuff was very impacted
by the film when she was about 8 yrs old. a committed junk food eater, she
never asks for kfc/mcdonald's food!

And the problem is so much bigger than chickens--bigger than chickens, and beef, and eggs, even bigger than food, tho there's lots and lots of ground to cover there.

What are the issues? Permit me a brief rant: The issues are whether we choose to build a life that is in harmony with things and people around us (and I give carnivores a place within "harmony", by the way), which would mean nurturing the world around us to the extent that we are able, *even* as we change it to suit our needs, or whether we view life as a battle, with everything "not-me" as something / someone to be conquered if convenient or desirable or possible, and within which the only needs and desires that matters are one's own. I'd say the duel between these two approaches has been with us throughout history and before. It comes up over and over and over; in agriculture, family life, economics, governments, medicine (yeah), law, probably any area one can think of.

Nurture or conquer? Adapt or dominate? Retribution or rehabilitation? Uh, I'd better step back down from the soapbox... Except to end with--go organic and all that comes with it! :-) (Well, to the degree that one can; sometimes one has to focus on the process, not *solely* on the goal.)

Sending again - Yahoo still hasn't solved the problem. :-(
Unfortunately it isn’t just chickens that suffer terribly. Living in
the countryside, where a lot of the farming is more extensive, for at
least part of the year anyway, there is still appalling cruelty goes on
and no one is interested in stopping it, and all animals end up in the
slaughterhouse. Below is a link to a film secretly taken in British
slaughterhouses:

I had a brother who was involved in the slaughter trade and I was so
sickened by what I saw, and heard about, I gave up eating meat
completely. I also gave up dairy as this is part and parcel of the
abuse trade. If you eat meat you put suffering on your plate. I had
the great benefit of vastly improved health with my eczema clearing and
my sinus problem drastically improving: winners all round.
