I have a friend who sells Nikken magnet products. She sold various ones (a water purifier, shoe inserts, necklaces etc.) to other people in our Edgar Cayce group about 2 years ago. I remained skeptic--and as far away as I could from anyone using a magnetic lap rug or such things during our meetings just in case it affects homeopathic results. None of these folks use homeopathy, sadly, though they know about it.
Now, two years later, I see no lasting health improvements in any of those folks. Some have said that the magnets reduce pain in acute cases (falls and such), but I am certain that there has not been much if any effect otherwise. And the products are not cheap. Teresa (Northern VA)

I don't particularly like magnetic therapy and think it can affect remedies. Those I've seen using this in all sorts of ways have not been healthy people, although claim they 'feel' great. It felt and looked to me as it's affect was more manipulative and deceptively 'helpful'. Magnets are very interesting and have applications in many other areas...and perhaps if used very specifically in certain cases with good reason/intuition....just don't belive using them for well-being routinely is wise.

It may turn out to be as individualized as remedy antidoting with anything else (i.e. coffee). I have seen several people have very poor response to their remedy and when questioned, learned they were using magnetic therapy - while others seem to have no problems at all. In my case, magnets caused great discomfort - but then, I've been hit by lightning several times, and my electrical system is way out of whack.

I use various Nikken products, and view them as a way to influence my local environment for the better. I wear a magnetic necklace, and have for many years. When I first tried it I was aware of the supposed interference with remedies, but in no case have I been given reason to suspect that this is the case - my apparently well-chosen remedies work well, and others do not. Acute remedies work especially clearly, too.

I see nothing bad about improving the local magnetic fields around my bed, and in fact sleep so much better using magnets that I take a comforter with me on trips. I have obtained striking relief from spasms with local application of magnets on occasion, when remedies seemed not to act, and when the spasms were relieved the remedies worked to heal the pained muscles.

I use the necklace because of my exposure to RMF, especially in the airplanes I fly. I drink the treated water because it feels and tastes great - and because not only do I feel better, but all my houseplants respond dramatically to the use of it - twice the vigor and size!

I was initially quite skeptical on the whole issue, but bought the necklace as a favor to a friend, and came to the other benefits very slowly. On no occasion have I felt it blocked my ongoing homeopathic treatment.

I agree that many folks who do not have a comprehensive approach to their health and lifestyle will have only transient results from magnets, but on the other hand I have seen first hand some dramatic results on others who were quite ill with diabetes, circulatory issues, tumors, etc. As with homeopathy, too, perhaps, when the body is ready to heal a slight push is often enough to precipitate change - or, we could say that when things are bad enough, a little good treatment can be quite effective. I would always put homeopathy first, last, and throughout life, and would never advise anything that contradicts it, but that's no reason not to stop the bleeding - or fix the hole in the wall.
