Well said, Sheri, and well observed, Kerry; and if it's beyond you to understand that unwillingness, Kerry, let me suggest that the unwillingness arises from unwarranted -- I may say overweening -- confidence in speculative ideas, exactly what Hahnemann entirely disposed of even before conceiving of conducting the first proving; and from that laziness we recognise as routinism, which manifests in poor dispensing habits, poor case-taking and followup investigative habits, and poor thinking habits.
The result, homoeopaths fatally compromised by a useless case history, useless analysis, inaccurate simillimum selection, unknowing imposition of medicinal symptoms, incomprehension of the patient's changing state, and failure to learn anything from it, is what is killing off homoeopathy even faster than the idiots who think they're skeptics for holding fast to their unevidenced beliefs that nothing's going on that they can't see. Every advanced homoeopath will confirm that these failures are common and that they are due to inadequate study, inadequate investment of time into the patient, and thoughtlessness.
Those comments are not directed at anyone in particular, incidentally.
Cheers --
