cortisone / LSD high

Friends,
There was a long radio piece on National Pulbic Radio stations in the US
today (Feb 27) about how kids have discovered the high that cortisone
produces. The story said it's a high similar to that from LSD. It also said
that if you do a search of cortisone on the web, thousands of listings come
up discussing instructions for taking the pills to get a high, how it feels,
etc. It said some pharmacies are now putting over-the-counter cortisone
products (which are numerous) behind the counter. You can find the story at

This sounds EXTREMELY unlikely to me.

Also, could NOT find anything with word "cortisone" on www.npr.org

What program? Or what time & radio station?

Abuse of cortisone & anabolic steroids has been LONG known in sports-related
field.
These are all related to pain management and performance enhancement,
psychological effects of addiction are rage; & sudden bouts of violence and
amnesia.

NO reports of "high similar to LSD" that I've ever heard of (or that I can
find anywhere on the WWW)
