Hello R?,
You mentioned Dr. Vijayakar and his 'Predictive Homeopathy'.
I have read his 2 books. I already had the impression you know this method,
because of your remarks on Herings law (rules) in a case on Minutus.
To be honest i don't think this method is a 'revolutionary' or 'new method',
In my understanding it is a real Hahnemannian/ Kentian approach.
The 'Constitutional genetic simillimum' to me is nothing else than the exact
constitutional remedy (which also reflects the dominating miasm).
On the other hand Dr. Vijayakar insights are a treasure and expansion of our
understanding.
Again a 'new method' as a reaction to wrong practicing of Homoepathy?
Please share your experience.
Kind regards, Piet

Piet,
What I believe is new in Dr. Vijayakar's approach is the inclusion of the
most recent discoveries of how an embryo develops and general physiology
into the homeopathic paradigm without deviating from the foundations laid
down by Hahnemann. His strict adherence and clear understanding of Hering's
law is RARELY seen in modern teachings. After studying with him and his
faculty, I don't wait as long to see if the remedy is correct. I can
recognize suppressions due to the wrong remedy more quickly and clearly.
There is certainly within certain homeopathic circles a lack of
understanding of the possibility of suppression with remedies and I see many
badly managed cases written up as successes. Dr. Vijayakar is trying to
bring a more objective scientific eye to this problem in an attempt to get
us all on the same track.
I mentioned him in response to the post about Dr. Ramakrishnan's work
because I think there is a noticeable difference in their styles.

Hi Russell-
Can you share with us this difference of remedy response interpretation?

Hi Jeff,
Dr. V's focus in understanding remedy response is classical Hering's law.
However, he has clarified from deeper to more superficial, top to bottom,
inside to outside, etc. in terms of embryological tissue origins ie
endoderm, mesoderm, ectoderm. The nutshell version is that ectodermal
tissues are the most superficial followed by endo then mesoderm. Now I can
be more clear that a case is moving in the right direction if lameness in
the knee is replaced by bronchitis (mesoderm to endoderm) and in the wrong
direction if if moves from bronchitis to knee pain, etc.
I will be presenting this information at the American Holistic Vet Assoc.
conference this year.

Hello Russell,
That's how I see it also.
What I like very much is his observation about miasmatic transfer or
suppression.
His addidition to Herings rules:
Cure should take place from:
1. Above downward
2. Inside outward
3. From more important organs to less important organs
4. From centre to periphery
5. In reverse order of appearance of symptoms
6. But also from more destructive miasm to lesser destructive miasm i.e.
syphylis to sycosis to psora.
There can also be a shift of the disease expression on the same organ level.
Bringing a disease to a lower (organ) layer is not sufficient it should also
brought down miasmatically from structural changes to functional changes.
Dr. Vijayakar says: 'Homoeopathy is like Mathematics'
Thanks for your answer,
